Day 1 - Darien Center, NY

-2 dorks in a bus

Left Cambridge at 11am and made it to a lovely lunch spot off of I-90 where we ate hummus sandwiches in a parking lot in the bus. Our first official stop was Camping World, an "underwhelming" shopping experience. Continuing west on I-90, and thanks to Steph Linakis and her camping directory gift, we ended up at the Darien Lake campground just east of Niagara falls. Little did we know this sleepy farm town has a 6 Flags Great Adventure, but got here too late to hit the rides. We were considering making it to the falls during their 9pm-midnight night display hours, but decided to wake up early and see them under the sun instead. We cooked our first meal in the bus! Healthy fried jalapeno poppers and pesto pasta. Don't change the channel...We'll be back
